There's something wrong with advertisement. It is failing. Most customers are annoyed by advertisement and try and avoid it at any cost. If we aren't just doing our best with ignoring the ads, we are using different techniques to get rid of the noise. It's a fine summer day and you are by a lake sitting on the dock. The water seems tempting. A bunch of kids are swimming and playing in the water. They make scary looking dives and try to drown each other in time to time. It looks all very intimidating. The kids have obviously been doing this, it's like walking or breathing for them. Yesterday I attended the second annual Data Highway event at Hyria, a multidisciplinary educational institution offering vocational education and training. Simple definition for social media
Finding a clear and simple definition for the term social media is hard. Most likely because no-one seems to quite know what it means. So here's what I've decided the definition for social media (roughly) entails: Social media are relatively easily accessible, mostly highly modifiable and scalable Internet based tools, which content is created and/or modified by the users of these tools.

Here's a thought: First analyze the target groups and create a generalized idea of what the people you are reaching out are like. Now P is for People. Then find a (random) bunch of actual living and breathing people fitting your general type. See what really are like, what they do, who they talk with. Farewell Miku
12 years ago a big yellow-orange cat started to hang around in the old barn at my home place. With a little digging we found out this cat had vanished from his old home, over 10 km from ours, and invited the owner to come and retrieve him. But the cat had made his decision: He wouldn't live there, he would want to move in with us. After several attempts to get him back to his old home we cave in. Miku was welcomed to our family.
