If you stand at your skybox long enough, you'll start to sprout branches. Don't believe me? Look what happened when I did. I just stood there, and the next thing I knew, things were growing off my head.

I do love accessories like this. Funny little headpieces, especially those that are nature inspired. Flowers. Branches. Butterflies. Animal ears or horns... They let me morph into something else. Flora, the goddess of flowers. Fauna, the goddess of fertility. The beauty of the nature, brought to our virtual existence.

Since I have been out of Second Life for a while, I'm a bit out of the loop too. I'd like to find photogenic scenery inworld. Standing still

There's not much to say. Last year I barely logged in, and never blogged. But for a couple of days I have been logging in to Second Life, multiple times. To celebrate that, I decided to snap one or two, and post it (also on Flickr).

Because I have been off for such a long time, I didn't have a clue where to go for pretty sights and surroundings. Luckily, Strawberry Singh mentioned this interesting location called COLD ASH (SLurl).

This site needs a redesign, reorganising and all around redo. Like asap. Gotta get onto that.

Hanging at the beach

Been a while. I know. My Second Life adventures have been a bit on and off lately. My overall feeling hasn't much improved, but I hang on. As I always do.

I currently camp with my friend. We share a beach somewhere at a sky. Mostly I just hang around there, changing clothes or reshaping my nose. That reminds me! A little while ago I decided to finally buy a bento head. I'll probably blog more about it soonish. It's very pretty, I must say.

I wonder, what do people do in SL these days? I tried to ask this over at Plurk, but nobody responded. And I mean, other than hang at their sky beaches, reshaping noses. Or shopping stuff. I do that. A bit too much. Luckily there are sometimes good stuff for sale too, so I don't spend all my limited L$.

What's up, pussycat?

My RL alt is a depressed person. It's not some sort of a passing state, it just is. Sometimes it gets better, sometimes it gets worse. Last year it was gradually getting worse. And then it got to the point where I had a burnout. Not the first time, so this time I recognised the issue and started to find ways to heal. It's ups and it's downs.

During this time I was invited to join a shopping event in Second Life. I talked with the owner of the event and told her I wouldn't be able to attend the upcoming round. This was okay. The rules I got stated that one must join every third round. So, the third round after I had joined the event, I enrolled to attend. I was feeling good about this. My comeback to SL! But suddenly the owner took a problem with me and kicked me out of the event. She said I hadn't done anything, so thanks but no thanks. I tried to explain that I had understood the rules the way I had, but she didn't care. I was tearing up, feeling I had done something really bad. While it sounds like a small thing, having already been burned out, the experience set me back more. It took me a month to get over it, and start to feel like hanging in SL again.

I'm still not doing great. In RL we had bad news about our apartment and had to find a new place. Which means that our budget is now seriously broken.
