The playlist was full of win. The rhythm of the music was fast enough and there weren't any slow ballads trumping the steady pace. He could hear his own labored breath and stomping feet through the music. It was a lovely morning. The sun was shining on his face and he thanked himself for taking the sunglasses. Gentle wind made the air feel fresh yet not too cold. Today the path felt slightly too soft. New sand had been laid on it the day before. Small sharp pieces of rock flew away under his shoes. Spring
She knew what it meant when all that water started to flow down the hill. Spring was finally there. After the long, cold winter the snow would finally go away. It reminded her of what would be. The warm nights, when the sun wouldn't really go down. The birds singing, insects buzzing and fuzzing. The first thing would be small patches of green. First green, then some yellow. A little bit of blue maybe. Mother's garden would come alive, every day a new plant would show up. Sleepy after being buried under the snow for such a long time. Chocolate
It was hot and strong. Not very sweet, kind of bitter aftertaste. It felt thick and silky sliding down her throat, finally warming her stomach. The boy looked anxious and enthusiastic. Like a dog after doing a neat trick and waiting for the reward. Let him wait. She remembered the voice of aunt Daisy telling her to be hard to get. She had been so young she wouldn't understand. Now she did. The boy had spilled the hot chocolate on the table. She looked at it and smiled.

Blogging during weekends
As you may have noticed from my last post (Edit: The post has since been removed), I'm taking part on #BlogFlash2013. All the bloggers (anyone, you included) are challenged to write one post a day around certain themes during March. But only through weekdays, not weekends. This got me thinking about blogging and weekends. I've noticed that weekends are quiet times at many blogs. Especially professional bloggers (those who are blogging for a business or are blogging to make money with it) tend to keep their blogs untouched from Friday night to Monday morning. Hot Font #13: Muli
Since this blog has been a bit quiet lately, here's another Hot Font. This one is called Muli. Muli is a display font, yet works well on many different things. Muli comes as regular (Normal 400) and light (Book 300). It's clear, simple and lightweight sans-serif. Created by Vernon Adams as many other Hot Fonts, Muli is published under SIL Open Font License (OFL) and it's of course free. Muli on Font Squirrel and Google Web Fonts.
Hot Font #12: Neucha
How about this Hot Font? It's name is Neucha, it was created by a person in love and it's name means something funny. Neucha is a subtly decorative, handmade styled font.
